"The cashiers and floor associates are great. I witnessed one of the managers(older black woman) yell at two employees, a few months ago. (A younger black woman and a Hispanic woman) in front of myself and multiple other customers. I felt so badly for them both. It was embarrassing."
"This is the WORST Goodwill I have ever been in from coast to coast. The manager is a first rate a$$ and so are the rest of the employees. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I purchased a large piece of gym equipment and drove around to pick it up. I knew that I would have to take several pieces off to get it in my vehicle so I parked to the edge of the donation drop off line so I could take it apart and load it without holding other people up. The fresh out of jail looking attendant mumbled something at me and went about his business. I asked him to repeat what he said and same unintelligible mumbling. He looked at me like he wanted to cut me on the spot. I finally deciphered that he wanted me to get back in line and they would load the equipment for me. It really ticked me off. I then went back into the store and asked to speak to the “manager” and he told me the same thing. He was very rude without even hearing my explanation. After some arguing I stood in a long check out line to get my money back. After 10 minutes or so, the idiot cashier pointed at my receipt and said no refunds except on clothes, WTH? Their return policy is located in the fine print on the receipt AFTER you make the purchase? Goodwill is a rip off. They’re charging outrageous prices for merchandise that’s GIVEN to them, receiving all kinds of tax breaks and incentives by the government, refusing to give refunds on items and lastly, having the nerve to ask customers to “round-up” their purchase to “support our mission” Their mission has become to screw their customers. Enough is enough."
"We have been to this Goodwill in the past, and I have had nothing but good experiences. We came across to drop off things to donate as we usually have. We came across rude attitude from management towards us at the drop off. The management was in a hurry, and was nitpicking. What can and cannot be donated. Anything from a spot on an item to something not closed in a box. It was very disappointing. There must be new management dislocation because I had never experiences before. I had a whole truckload of things to donate, and I left out of there with a bitter taste in my mouth. We will not be going back to this place to donate, and will find a place that will be pleased with our continuous donations every month"
"The dressing rooms are still closed! Although returns for giftcards may work for most I live far from you location and would like to be spared the trouble of a gift card for something that does not work for me. I believe that if I pay cash I am entitled to a cash return. So no thanks I will just shop somewhere else!"
"This is funny how they price things. You find almost retail prices for items in a place that received them all for donations. For example this storage rack I. Putting pictures up too they're asking 50 bucks for it and it's used. Has bends in the racks and looks to have held a lot of weight. Yet at Harbor freight and several other stores you can pick up the exact same type of storage rack for the same exact price new...."
