"Sat in ER 4 hours waiting to be seen. Co-pay was quickly taken…but never saw a dr. Others in waiting room said they had been there over 8 hours waiting to be seen. We left, even though my son was in pain. Will be seen quicker by PCP in the morning. If you need to go to an ER, DO NOT GO TO PIEDMONT HENRY!"
"Just shut the whole hospital down husband came in around 8am with symptoms of a stroke he definitely wasn’t made high priority like at other piedmont hospitals we’ve literally been in the Emergency Room area since he came in & it’s after midnight was told he needed a MRI & CT SCAN he never received either test! They don’t even have a room for him to go in we’re literally in the emergency department rooms I’m beyond disgusted at this point I’m not blaming the staff because they’ve been super friendly (the ones I’ve interacted with) but as far as the level of service & care it definitely isn’t up to par so if your experiencing life threatening symptoms or injuries I urge you to go somewhere else because HENRY PIEDMONT DEFINITELY AINT IT! At this point I’m convinced you have to be almost dead to receive medical attention!!"
"I have been sitting here in the lobby for 3 hours with no help with vomiting nausea diarrhea and positive Covid test. I went back to do blood work and was brought back to the lobby. I’ve never been to an hospital that leaves their patients in the lobby for hours throwing up. What a waste of time for the ill!!! I would have love to been feeling better by now!!! Lord willing I will not be back to die in the lobby!!!!"
"Went in to the OB Emergency Department. Instead of acting like my situation was an emergency the lady sat at her desk while my pregnant 33 weeks self leaned against the podium while she asked me questions that could have waited like my employment and things of that nature. The nurses are rude and uncaring. I never once seen one of them smile or try to make me feel like I was welcome. I felt like since the moment I walked through the door, they already came up with a diagnosis that It was cramps and not contractions. Pregnant women come to the ER to get a piece of mind. I would have never came up there unless the cramps were really bad, which they were. I laid down and was monitored for not even 30 minutes before being discharged. No body checked, swabbed, or even took a glance down there to see if everything was good. I have updated my birth plan and will make sure I do not come here for Labor. I hate for a new mom to get to experience birth here, other hospitals like Emory have loving L&D nurses and staff. Get it together!"
"I went to this hospital 8:30 am today and just now checked myself out afterward nearly 12 hours of waiting. After given a CT scan, I was placed in a room for 11 1/2. Three different doctor's told me three different things . 1. my CT was fine though I have symptoms of suffering for a stroke. 2 my CT showed I suffered a mini stroke and lastly I was told that I suffered a suffered not long ago. I was supposed to be moved upstairs nearly nine hours after these conversations. Here I sit still waiting for some type Eeaboration on my condition. I'm not a doctor nor expert but I don't think you should wait 9 hours for M. R I to see if there's something seriously going on with a patient. I was told them that I would like to leave. what they have me doing. I could do in my own house which is laying the bed and wait to die. At least I'll be comfortable. Not to mention the inexperience people have sticking you to draw blood. My arms are full of bruises and needles marks as if I shot dope. When I decide to leave a doctor telling me, frightening me about What could potentially happen if I leave. Well, if it's that serious then Why am I waiting half a day to get seen. Worst hospital I have been to. Well, I can't say that they treat medicaid, personal insurance, no insurance patience differently, we are all in the same boat. I have personal Insurance"
