Motel 6 Cordele, GA

"Front desk attendant/owner?, didn’t say hello or even smile. Being welcomed goes a long way. Bathroom sink faucet was hands free, automatic which I understand saves on water but, HELLO PEOPLE, did not have a hot water tap. Area was sketchy, there was no where to walk the dog and it was littered with garbage. Room was under renovation, missing tiles, spackled walls, etc. 1 tiny wastebasket way over by the door. Mainly though, the guy who checked me in said only 3 words. “Give me ID”. Really!? How about “hello!, welcome!” For the night is was tolerable but, would never stop there again! We stayed at the Lafayette IL Motel 6 the night before and hotel staff was super friendly which is why we chose to stay there. Considering how many other hotels there are within walking distance of this one it it would behoove them finish these renovations and put a smile on the faces!"

"The only thing on the plus side in this Motel 6 is that the linens appeared to be clean, including the towels and sheets, and the floor appeared to be new. On the minus side, the front desk guy barely spoke English. I reserved my room ahead of time, but when I checked in, I had to INSIST on a room with a fridge & microwave. Then the microwave was rusty, and the glass turntable was missing. The fridge had no shelves & the freezer was unusable due to thick ice build up inside of it. The bathroom floor had what appeared to be roach eggs on the floor. The inside of the bathroom door was covered in muddy (I hope) hand prints. There was no air conditioner setting on the temperature control, only heat and fan. The temperature would not go below 77 degrees. We had to leave the door open on the mini fridge to get a little relief from the heat. There was no chair at the desk, so I had to sit on the bed to use my computer. I hope the owners are embarrassed by the filth in that room."

Bathroom was spotless which is a big plus for me! They provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. 3. Convenient Amenities: Reliable Wi-Fi, a variety of TV channels. The motel's parking facility was convenient and easily accessible with Dog walk area added to the overall convenience. 4. Excellent Location: Strategically located near major highways, making it easy to explore the area without spending too much time on the road. Dining and shopping options were nearby which was an added bonus. 5. Friendly Staff: One aspect that truly impressed me was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel valued as a guest. Their dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay was evident throughout my time there. Overall, my experience at Motel 6 was nothing short of excellent. It provided a comfortable, clean, and affordable stay, exceeding my expectations for a budget-friendly accommodation. Whether you're a budget traveler or simply seeking a no-frills place to rest, this Motel 6 is definitely worth considering. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again on my next visit."
