Eagle's View Rental Cabin

"My family had the most amazing time at this cabin! I wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews but I was told it was under new management, and I'm so glad we gave it a shot. Seriously, it had everything you could hope for and more. For starters, that view. What..A..View! Forget the pictures...the real deal is in person when the sun casts it's glow over the mountains and onto the cabin. Spectacular! One of my favorite things to do was to watch the sunrise while sipping coffee on the back porch with hubby. Next, the firepit. Beautifully set up and plenty of space for all the kids to run around it roasting their marshmallows. The firepit was the highlight for my kids, especially since they just had to walk a few steps away to find some good branches to throw in. Fire logs are included in your stay but that wasn't fun enough for my kids so they burned whatever they could find. The hot tub is on and running throughout your entire stay and those jets gave us the best massage! Game room was also a big hit with the kids. Parent tip: put a movie on in the game room while you enjoy the hot tub. You can still see the kids and what they are watching from the tub. You do have to take a few steps down from the main cabin level but we had no issues with that. The entire cabin is solid and immaculate! We agreed it was the cleanest place we had vacationed at. We had a baby crawling on the floors so we know it was clean. And also the place was fully stocked. You can cook, bake, clean, wash, whatever you want! I tried just about every appliance they had (oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, washer/dryer, etc.) ...all works perfect! The cabin sits at the top of whatever mountain it's on and the roads to get there are in perfect condition. About 20min drive to either Ellijay or Blue Ridge and close to so many activities and restaurants. Inside they have a book with all the info you need for your stay and recommendations for food/activities nearby. Management was very responsive and all in all I have no complaints! Did I mention the fireplace is remote control?! We already decided to come back next year and I am not looking for another cabin...no need!"

"Great cabin with all the amenities. The views are better than any other cabin I've stayed at. The downstairs area is great for the kids with arcade games, dartboard and bean bag toss. There is an outside swing on the bottom with Great views. The kids also had a blast playing disc golf. This cabin is hands down the most fun we've had in a rental."

"The bed is REALLY soft, and the right side is all indented and damaged. It needs to be replaced. It hurt our backs quite bit. Almost reminded me of a water bed. The downstairs is completely separated from the main floor! I had this vision of putting my dogs’ crates down there and making that their little space to separate them at night from us humans like we do at home. I was really surprised to find that you had to exit the home and go down the exterior stairs and use a new key to unlock a different door to access that space. Almost made it unusable it was such a hassle to get down there. I definitely didn’t feel comfortable leaving my dogs down there in what was basically a whole separate living space. So that made it more crammed in the main house than I anticipated as we lost so much square footage that I had been planning on being able to access easily. Would be nice if they made that more clear in the description or if one of the customer service reps explained that to me as a disclaimer when I called to ask a couple other questions. It’s definitely disclaimer-worthy. The main floor of the cabin was very cute. There’s a million dollar view if you sit in the recliner. The fireplace added so much. However, panoramic views (for everyone at the same time) are only available from the bottom floor, which again was pretty unusable. There were spider web tunnels going into the couch the bottom floor. It’s clear no one uses it much. They left more than enough dish soap for hand washing dishes, and dishwasher soap for the machine. The Keurig can make both the single-serve cups with the pods, or a whole pot like a normal coffee maker. There is a really nice washer/dryer I was surprised to find with soap included. Also nice beach towels I didn’t expect to find (for the hot tub). There are hot dog and marshmallow roasting sticks, a toaster, blender, LOTS of kitchen utensils (but no rubber scrapers). Lots of pots and pans, baking dishes, strainer, box grater, cutting boards—the works. I cooked full on meals. There will be no condiments or things like cooking oil, tin foil/cling wrap, etc. per the policy stated. The company was very responsive and good to work with. Have fun!"
