Best Western Mountain View Inn

"Even though I made the reservation asking for a first floor room with a view 6 weeks ago!! When we got there we didn't get what we asked for! No big deal... but tbh that was the whole reason to pick this hotel over others the area! Technically, it's a 1 star for me! But I just hate to dump on anyone! Hope they learn to 1. Listen to your guest 2. Don't treat them like idiots"

"Great location views. Very nice all around. Good breakfast. Handy cap easy to maneuver, on the 1st. floor. No elevator to the second floor. The staff are absolutely delightful."

"Pepper was great at check in. Nice mountain view out the window. Room had good plugs and USB connections, a nice bed, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker - everything we could ask for! Breakfast was good and free with the help working tirelessly to keep everything full. Seating is limited at the moment while the back patio is renovated. Loved their innovative pancake maker - much nicer and better tasting than other places waffle makers. Second floor rooms had a very convenient stair up from the lobby making it easier to skip the elevator. Very convenient location for mountain views, highway access, and plenty of places to shop and eat close by if needed. Best Western will match other hotels status in their rewards program. I wondered how this would work for upgrades. It did! Very happy about that and therefore: Recommended!"

"We recently enjoyed an overnight stay at this wonderful property on a quick fall mountains trip. The hotel is very clean; the rooms are spacious and well appointed; the staff is very pleasant and helpful; and the views are fantastic. The hotel is just a couple of minutes from downtown Ellijay, which offers shopping and dining. The included breakfast offered biscuits and gravy, eggs, and assorted prepackaged pastries when we were there - a pleasant surprise. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area!"

"Exceptionally clean and well-kept rooms, really nice staff. My only complaints are noise from adjoining rooms (walls seem thin) and room doors slamming loudly (this could be fixed) and breakfast isn't served until 7 which doesn't work well for people that have to be at work early. I've stayed here twice and likely will again."
