"I worked with Lifestyle Benefits for my voluntary benefits a few months ago and had a great experience. Their sales team is incredibly knowledgeable, their support staff is easily reached and I loved how simple and efficient it was to sign up. I would definitely recommend Lifestyle Benefits."
"I cant get anyone to call me back.."
"Expect never to be called back for AFLAC through the hospital. 4 messages, no online inquiries, never a call back."
"I have had one bad experience here after another. I have had Aflac for years and done little else but claim office visits and wellness. It seems like there are constant changes in benefits and companies. Over the years, less and less is covered. Two years ago my daughter was in and out of the ER 4 times in a 2 week span before ultimately having her gall bladder removed. Only one ER visit was covered. Last year I had surgery and my paperwork accidentally sat on their fax machine for a week. I was off for 6 weeks and did not see a nickel until the week before I went back to work. Last summer I made the decision to cancel everything. The post tax coverage cancelled immediately but the Aflac portion could not be cancelled until November because they said it is pretaxed. I’m not sure what that has to do with it because they were happy to sign me up in the middle of the year. When they finally processed the paperwork, they informed me that the money would not stop being deducted from my paycheck until after the end of the year. I just double checked and not surprising, it is still being taken out of my check. The follow up with this company is great if you are signing up. If you want to file a claim other than office visits, expect to wait. The follow up is horrible. Do yourself a favor. Open a separate savings account, have your check split and deposit $100/pay. You will have it when you need it, and you will get ALL your money without having to file ridiculous paperwork when you are trying to recover from illness or surgery."
