"Southland is a very special place for not only learning, but for fellowship. Our relationship with the Lord, His Word were priorities at Southland. I was a commuting student for over 19 years and because of increased responsibilities as a widow, I needed to make my home, my violin teaching, my church, my family No.1. "The staff is warm, kind, and helpful! Their facility is not overly large, easy to find, and the dorm rooms are spacious. As a Baptist Bible Institute, I think many folks will have the opportunity to get grounded in God's Word as well as have a comfortable place to live. For younger students, there are many safeguards and oversight of their first years away from home. A conservative atmosphere with excellent leadership promotes godly morality and depth of study."
