"I can't exaggerate how good the care is here, and importantly, how sensitive to your budget the vet is. She absolutely will not recommend expensive treatments unless it is the absolute last resort. She will tell you point blank when a routine treatment could be skipped to save you money. She does so much good work with community cats and feral animals, taking the absolute minimum payment, it's a wonder she's still in business. What's more, she's intellectually curious and keeps up on the latest science. A vet like this is hard to find, and worth it to me to drive an hour even though I live in the city."

"Baranik has the most caring staff. We found a dog that was in severe need of a grooming. He was completely matted, and very uncomfortable. We were afraid it’d take multiple sessions to get him in proper shape. Jan took her time and patiently and effectively groomed him. It was a very long process but she made him feel as comfortable as possible and was able to groom him in one go! She’s amazing and we can’t thank her enough. "Friendly and knowledgeable staff! They have several office cats that will greet you as you arrive and bring constant entertainment while waiting to be seen. I initially heard of them through their work with rescue groups. A couple of my cats weren't feeling well and Dr. Baranik was very helpful in explaining what may be going on and what to expect. The exams were thorough and I was given very clear instructions and tips for how to give the medication my babies needed."

"We just came here for the first time after moving to the area and I could NOT say enough about how amazing and kind these people are. Dr. Baranik and her staff care so much about what they do and are so fun - they really treat you like you matter from the moment you walk in the door. We have 2 dogs, one of whom is VERY anxious at the vet, and they treated him with kindness and patience. Dr. Baranik even got down to their (very short) level to feed them treats and reassure them. They even said we were free to swing by whenever to get our dogs used to the vet. They have reasonable prices, communicated with us really well, and were transparent about everything.
