"Great store and adequate location in Tallahassee! The first time we found an REI was north Georgia and I had never been in before. Great place if you love outdoors a s camping. They have anything you can think of. A little pricey, but you always get what you pay for. Love this place!"

"You'll always get what you pay for when it comes to quality outdoor apparel and equipment! Also the staff was very knowledgeable about everything down to the right type of socks!! AIso seen that REI was holding outdoor classes there. Other stores in town don't carry the type of quality that is put into their products that they sell, but they come with an impressive price. Would return again!"

"We thought we would check out the new store. Hubbie wanted golf clubs but it's not that kind of store. It is well layed out. I love Patagonia and North Face. Sadly we are not hikers, kayakers or mountain climbers. They do have cute dog stuff. The prices seemed pretty high."

"I went to the three day grand opening and had a blast. I brought my dog for the morning openings as well. I love how big this store is and how many options they have. I’ve since been back multiple times. Tallahassee needed an REI and I’m stoked we have it! The layout is easy to navigate. Backpacks and canoes in the middle. Everything camping on the right. Everything bikes on the left side. Then in the back….Women’s clothes back right. Men’s clothes back left. There are changing rooms as well. Shoes on the back wall (I was eyeing the new brooks shoes!). The parking lot is huge! Plenty of parking spots. It was slammed for the grand opening and Christmas shopping but on normal days I haven’t had an issues parking up close. There is a north side parking lot and a west side parking lot. Both feed into near by shopping plaza parking spots as well."
