"Experienced some amazingly poor customer service from a manager in the store. I worked with a sales clerk to have a pair of running shoes replaced under warranty, he reviewed them and organized for a similarly sized pair to come from another store. The clerk handled everything perfectly, calling me once the replacements arrived to organize for me to pick them up. When I arrived at the store, I was provided with the shoes to try them on. They fit so took them back to the counter where a manager, whom I've never met and had no idea who I was as a customer, stepped in and denied the warranty on behalf of the manufacturer and the store. Said the shoes I was trying to return had had a life in the 8 months I owned them and while the outer material tore (which should never happen in a sports shoe), they were no longer going to cover them. I was not very happy. I'd spent time and completed everything correctly when this manager (responsible for training the employees that was accepting the warranty return) decided to go against his colleagues decisions and step in denying the transaction. Up to you as a buyer a) whether to trust warranty of any item in the store, b) whether to trust management of this store to provide good customer service and honor warranty decisions by the people they trained. For me, I'm out as I can no longer trust these two most important items with them. Any money we normally spend at this store will now have to go to their competitors who are unfortunately further away but we've already experienced better customer service and warranty recognition there."

"Went in to browse after searching for restrooms nearby with no luck. My husband asked an employee if he could direct us in the right direction, we had two little ones so we needed to find one soon. I didn't catch his name but the older gentleman, I believe he was the manger. He was very friendly and allowed us to use their restroom. We ended up making a purchase as well, and to our surprise it was on sale so even better!"

"I had a truly disheartening experience at Mountain High Outfitters recently, thanks to an old gentleman with white hair, who I suspect might have been the manager. I simply wanted to try on a pair of shoes, but I was met with a meager selection of only two sizes that didn't match mine – not an issue. When I mentioned considering an online purchase, he inquired about my source, to which I replied honestly, "I don't know." His response, dripping with rudeness, hit me like a ton of bricks: "Can't you see how I have a problem with that if it's not from us?" With my feelings deeply wounded, I left the store, utterly disappointed in this unpleasant encounter."

"Great selection of many great brands. We love coming here for sunglasses, oddly enough - they sell many of our favorite brands (knockarounds, etc). Great selection of hats, tumblers, coats, shoes and more."

This morning I stopped by to exchange a pair of On Running shoes for my wife and the entire experience was easy, professional and even enjoyable! I can’t say enough about the “young” people who work here and their amazing personalities and professionalism! MHO in Alpharetta is the best!!"
