"I come here as much as possible because of the excellent service, the quickness, consistency, and the incredible job each nail tech does. Every acrylic set I've gotten from here I've loved. I've been to about 5 nail salons in PTC and this one has always been consistently the best at what they do—nice, clean, and welcoming environment."

"Got my nails done (by an older lady at the salon) she was nice, but cut my skin about 5x during the SNS process. I got my nails done on Thursday, it’s now Saturday and two of my nails came off. I’m a working mom, and don’t have time to just stop what I’m doing to get my nails fixed. I called the salon yesterday (Friday) to let them know of this, and just said I would like my money back. He told me to go up to the salon today (Saturday) and the manager could help me with that. OKAY GREAT. I walk in, and the lady that did my nails greeted me. I said hi.. I’m not upset, just came for a refund, and showed her my nails and cuts on my skin. Mind you, I’m holding my 2 year old while speaking with her. She said “we’ll fix for you…” NO. I spent $51 on the worst sns job I’ve ever seen. I was told by the “manger” that I have to come back in on Monday. She has to call the “company” for my refund??? I would stay far away from Nail Star. They are awful ever since Amanda and Steven left."

"If I could give zero stars I would. I went here yesterday to get a full set. The technician didn't say a word to me and was very hard on my nails. I wanted a full set and I've had this done before but never so harshly. After doing a really horrible job on my nails she proceeded to cut the sides of my nail beds and when I started bleeding she just wiped it away with a cotton boll and then proceeded to file the same area she had just cut. The nails were super uneven, super bumpy and my pinky nails were literally sticking straight up almost. When I went to pay I paid $60!! For a really short coffin shaped manicure that honestly wasn't even worth $25. After showing my husband we went back into the salon to have them fix it. The lady who then fixed it was super irritated that I had come back to get them fixed. Even though it was obvious how bad they were. After leaving my nails became really sore. I understand tightness from getting acrylic but this morning I woke up with really sore and irritated nail beds that itch and are inflamed. Pretty sure I have an infection so now I'm trying to remove them as fast as possible. Will never go back here. UPDATE: 3/20/23 After hours and I mean HOURS of trying to remove the acrylic from my nails I can now see all of the damage done to my nails. The lady (Cindy) who did my nails cut so deep into my nail bed and cut a quarter of my nail bed width off. I now have some sort of allergic reaction and blisters from this."
