"One of the general Mangers was unprofessional, racist, and unwelcoming. I was opening the Julia’s place concealer packaging to see a particular color since there wasn’t any color displayed! The general manager specifically singled ME (African American) to not test the product however my white counterparts were demonstrating the same task and wasn’t given the same attitude as me. I usually never have anything bad to say about ULTA; however this General Manager did not welcome me into the store, didn’t ask if I was looking for anything in particular! Yet, she discriminate against me rather than my white counterpart’s . I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable at this location. 0 outta of 10 don’t recommend."

"Went in today to do some last minute shopping. They don’t greet you or come up to you and see if you need help. I wanted perfume. There aren’t any sticks to smell the testers. I really wanted the Prada Milano parfum after smelling it. The box said Paradoxe and I didn’t know they were the same. I asked the male associate, in that section, if they were diff and he said yes. So obviously he doesn’t know anything about their products either. I missed out on buying it today there, but ordered a gift set elsewhere. I overheard a female associate ask him if they should put out a box of Kleenex for the customers to smell perfume and he says, “no cause it’ll be gone too quick.” Purchasing online is better, but the way some of the employees are in store makes you want to spend money elsewhere."
