"I love this salon, I’ve been here a total of 3 times. Twice for myself and once to bring my cousin. My sew in the first time was okay but then the salon got all new staff! They’re new staff is so friendly while Sabrina, the owner, is always a pleasure to speak with. The second time I received braids and I loved them. Lemonade braids were done quickly and exactly what I asked for! I love this salon so much"

"This was my first sew in! I will never get another. I haven't had it in a week and taking it down. I have been researching weave shops in the area. I went with live love and slay due to their pictures and reviews. I have been texting with the owner for a month. The owner provided great customer services and answered all my questions. I sent pictures of my hair and what I wanted. She assured me it could be done. I booked last week. My appointment was on 4/11/19. I didn't realize that the owner wasn't doing my hair till I arrived. The hairstylist was polite. I showed her what I wanted. She asked if I had my hair. I explained I was told to just show up everything was provided. She had to call the owner that gave her instructions on how to find the bundles. She immediately started on my hair. She didn't wash or condition my hair. Luckily, my hair was clean. She took her time and was very personable. She explained she was new (been there 2 weeks). However, as she finished my hair she explained she couldn't get my hair like the picture because my hair was to long in the live out. I didn't want live out. She explained she would have to cut my hair drastically or changed the style. I told her just change the style to a longer Bob. Once she finished it wasn't what I expected. It looked nice curled. I paid $190. After the curls fell two days later I noticed tracks were showing and braids were showing in the back. I text the owner with my concerns. The owner ask I come back in for it to be fixed. The owner was nice and explained they would re-do the entire sew in and get it right. I go back in this morning 4/17/19! The stylist moved a track from the back to the front. THATS IT! told Me I was done. No curls, no fixing, no cutting, NOTHING. I walked out looking a mess. I simply said thank you. Went to my natural hair salon had her take it out. The stylist that took it out explained that the sew in was done improperly. The braids were too big and the sew in wouldn't lay flat with the braid size. The braid pattern wasn't correct for the style. She even asked if I got the hair from the hair store. I said no I purchased two bundles from the salon. She advised the hair was thin and poor quality. The hair was also two different colors (dark Brown and black). I spent $190 at this salon for less than a week sew in. I have now paid someone else to take it out and re-do my hair. I hope this review will be used as a teaching experience. Customer service was good. Services provided were not."

"Such a bad customer service experience, I wish I could give a half star. I decided to try this salon since I am new to the area and was looking for a new salon to go to. I went to this salon for a birthday hairstyle(12/14), I asked the stylist for a silk press and clip in style to blend in with my natural hair. The stylist gave me a trim(I did not ask for) she made my hair bone straight and so short so the clip-ins did not securely stay in, they slipped right out and since my hair had been cut I had jagged edges in which the clip ins did not blend in with my hair anymore. I walked out of the salon looking like a lion, the hair was so big and not flat ironed down into the style I had wanted. I left the salon very unhappy with how my hair came out. I paid $90 for this hair style and walked out super unhappy. In retrospect, I shouldn’t have paid them $90 I should have paid(just for the silk press).The stylist even apologized for not giving me the hairstyle I wanted she knew how unhappy I was with it but still took my $90. I called the owner the next day to tell her about what happened and explained how dissatisfied I was with their service. The owner said she knew what happened and would order me more hair and would have someone else redo it and she would call me back once the hair was in. The owner NEVER called me back. I called her back today 1/18/19 and she said she cannot give me a partial refund and admitted she never ordered Kinky straight hair. In addition, she told me to get in contact with the stylist who did my hair to get a partial refund as the stylist has since left the salon. Never again will I go here I will tell all my friends, acquaintances and strangers to stay away from this salon. I was lied to and cheated. I hate that I have them $90 for my birthday and the money was wasted.."
