"Me ,my daughter and son in law ate in the restaurant a few weeks before Christmas. Both me and my son in law ate stew with our meal. It was good. We ordered 2 gallons for our Christmas Eve Family Get Together. It was the most awful stew any if us ever tried to eat. Needless to say we just ate sandwiches from the pork my so in law cooked. We want ever go there again. $80 dollars was just thrown away. The stew we got tasted nothing like what we had at the restaurant. And my daughter and I picked it up fresh Christmas Eve."
"Small place in the country. I like places off the beaten path. Really was good. Served hot. Had the pulled pork, baked beans, and stew. Very impressed across the board. My wife’s smoked turkey was great also. Keep it up."
"Great BBQ joint away from the big city. The food is good, and the service is fast and friendly. Ribs are done just right. Pull off the bone rather than just fall off the bone. Ribs are savory, not sweet. Their bbq sauce is a cross between Carolina and Texas; a little vinegary but not runny and not molasses thick. BBQ pork is lean. Coleslaw is sweet and crisp. Beans have a really good flavor. If you dine in, you get to have all the roasted peanuts you want."
"Well, I was looking for pulled pork in every state while on our journey. For Georgia, this place was not in a city but made the pulled pork better. Mine came with a slice of sweet pickle. That added to the taste, so I asked for more. It comes with plenty of extra sauce on the side and was not saturated right out of the kitchen so I could add as much as I desired. The building had the old-time piggy charm that I was looking for. If I lived in the area, this would be a regular stop."
"I dined-in for a late lunch at 1:15pm. When I walked in there were a few people. It was quiet. The staff was really nice and sweet. We waited about 30 minutes for our food. While I waited they had peanuts(free for dine-in or 1.50 if you take out). The food was good! I loved the backed beans and the fries(you need to ask for them extra crispy, it makes them so much better!) The sauce was one of my favorite parts. The meat was a little dry. They had the football game going. Overall the staff was very nice and I would go back again!"
