"Well, where exactly do I begin? First, I have been going to this salon for a few years. Morena is my stylist, but Rosa has done my hair as well. They are both great ladies. I was going through my hair today, and noticed chunks of broken off hair near the crown. I decided to go to another salon just to see how the visit compared. The lady immediately pointed out several other broken off areas and revealed to me my hair is over processed. I thought it may have been due to the heat, but then they told me it's due to relaxer. I have NEVER had a relaxer at Dominican Touch - at least not to my knowledge. They told me I needed an immediate protein and conditioning treatment. I then decided to look at the reviews of Dominican Touch to find claims of relaxer being snuck in shampoos and/or conditioner with other claims of broken off hair. I never looked at the reviews after I started going here routinely BECAUSE I TRUSTED MY STYLIST AND THE SALON. My hair is in bad shape. I'm more disappointed and hurt than anything. Grant it, they will make your hair look fabulous, but your hair's health will suffer from it tremendously if your hair is tight and coily while wet. I believe the claims made about this salon is true because I am living it right now. You choose what's most important."

"Tried them out for the first time. Mind you I'm African American and have very thick texture hair. I was a little nervous but Rosa assured me she got me. Came in there for the blowout. She ended up getting it so straight I didn't even need the flat iron. Prices are very affordable and I will be back.."
