"I agree with Rob a previous review. I don’t see the hype. The lady up front was not rude but not very friendly. Just basic service. Very limited menu! The food was ok at best mainly bread and crackers. Had about 6 oz of pulled pork and 4 oz of stew. It was $12 with a drink. My friend and I ordered the same plate. We both left hungry. I won’t be back."

"Menu as of 1-14-24. Very limited menu. Pork, Bagged chips, coleslaw and brunswick stew. No french fries or baked beans at this bbq place. What they make is very good though. The bbq sauce has a very vinagery/tangy taste. The sauce is not thick and it is not sweet. This is my mother in law's favorite place to eat- she always gets the "special" ( two bbq sandwiches, a bag of chips and a drink- around $10.00) She has been coming here for over 70 years."

"I don't understand the hype. I can make better smoked butt barbecue myself at home. The reviews just aren't in line with the food quality from a southern man who grew up eating barbecue. There was no smoke flavor within the pork, nor was there any meat in the stew. We drove two hours to try this place, and we were all disappointed. Take it from a GA boy, and go somewhere else. This IS NOT the best barbecue in Georgia, nor is it the second best in the south."
