"I believe Misty is a racist. At first I called to get an appointment for highlights and talked to Misty her self. She told me that she doesn't do color treatments for any other ethnicities except Caucasian because the color doesn't come out as expected cause of the hair texture. I am already aware of that. I explained to her that I am Asian and my hair texture is similar to Caucasian hair and didn't understand why she's deny to take me. But I ignored it and said its ok I'll look else where. Then I called back to get an appointment for just a hair cut. And she told me same thing, which I refuse to believe. She clearly said that we only take Caucasian customers. Which to me is completely racist. This is the first time I've heard this kind of excuse from any salon. I am extremely upset to find out there are still people like Misty."

I found Misty through a groupon deal, so I called her to find out more about her and her location, I proceeded to explain to her my hair dilemma, I had someone dye my hair jet black because I had always thought the black hair was just healthy & beautiful looking, so I went from brown hair to black, but just recently decided after having black hair for a year I wanted to go back to my natural color. So after speaking to Misty she explained to me that once you go black you have a harder time going back from a darker color back to a lighter color, so she told me to come in to see if she could even fix what the other lady had done. Misty was amazing, she was very honest with me and told me everything she recommended to help me get back to my natural color. We are doing a process that is getting me back to my natural color, but all the while not damaging my hair. She is an amazing, knowledgeable, honest hair dresser who only wants the best for her clients. She is very reasonably priced and honors her prices. I am so thankful I found her. I will not be going anywhere else or seeing anyone else for my hair. Misty is very trustworthy and a joy to be around. I would recommend her to anyone! She is awesome!"
