Waffle House 1408 Georgia 16, Griffin, GA 30223

"I placed a to-go order. The customer service I received was good. However, the food was prepared in such haste, and it was terrible (including the appearance). I ordered the pumpkin spice waffle with pecans, and bacon. I was given a regular waffle, which irritated me because my taste buds were really looking forward to the pumpkin spice and pecan waffle. I will try never to go to Waffle House when they're busy again."

"There was only one waitress and one cook. I think the waitress might have been new. She didn't quite seem like she knew what she was doing. We went there after trick or treating and the place was dead. There was only one car in the parking lot and it looked to be a friend of the employees. Every table was dirty. We had to stand there for a few minutes to wait on her to come clean off some tables. It took her longer than normal to bring the drinks. She forgot the waffles and didn't bring any butter or syrup. We had 4 adults, 3 teens and 1 child. That poor baby was hungry. All he ordered was a waffle and of course that was the last thing she brought after everyone had already finished all their food except the waffles we were waiting on. Anything we asked her for took a while to get. The cook did well. The scrambled eggs were a little softer than usual but still good. A family that came in after us ended up just leaving because she was taking too long to even get to them. She needs to learn to multitask and get quicker at doing the checks and get better at being able to read the receipts. Also, you should bring little kids their food first, or at least at the same time as everyone else's food. Update 10/31/23 We went here for dinner after trick or treating. Just like last year there was only one waitress and one cook. They did a much better job this time though. All the tables were clean and she came right over and took our order. She was very friendly and did a great job. After we ordered a whole bunch of people came in and the restaurant was packed. The waitress was running back and forth helping everyone. She did a great job."

"Starting off, our server, Princess, was wonderful. She was attentive, but not intrusive. She was friendly and personable. The two cooks, Nate and Dustin, make the best food we've ever had at a Waffle House. My fiance likes his eggs over medium well. No one ever gets his eggs right the first time. They came out perfect. He also likes a dark roast coffee. Princess started a new pot for him. It was smooth and full bodied, not bitter, at all. My chicken was so moist and so flavorful. We will definitely be going back."
