Jack's 510 Rountree Drive Southwest, Dawson, GA 39842

"We have been going to this Jack’s location since it opened. In the beginning it wads a great but over the last few months EVERYTHING about location has gone downhill. Thursday 2/1/24, I placed an online order around 510pm. My online receipt said it would be ready in 30 min. I didn’t leave the restaurant until 6 pm with my order which wasn’t right but I had hungry children to feed at home and couldn’t wait any longer. There were only 3 employees working when I arrived at 520pm and they were completely put of chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, fries, ice tea, lemonade and who knows what else. I witnessed the manager curse out a lady who came in and placed her order right after I got there when the customer asked for her money back after waiting 20 min for 3 meals. The manager was downright rude to the poor woman and even a Dawson police officer came in and had to get his money back when his order wasn’t ready when he got there. I ordered sweet tea and they were out so the substitute they gave me was Diet Coke in a to go plastic to go jug. The biscuit's are hard as rocks when I got home and the salad I ordered hot because they put a box of hot chicken tenders on top of it and the mashed potatoes were barely warm. Highly disappointing!"

"We ordered from the drive through. Employee with blond and pink hair working the window at 4-6pm on 2-1-24 was rude and dismissive. We ordered a chicken sandwich meal, two piece chicken dinner, and tenders. We were told that we had to wait 15-20 minutes while they made a fresh batch of chicken as they ran out. Which was okay, 15-20 minutes is not a big deal. We were told to pull forward to wait, and we did. We ended up waiting closer to 2 hours for our meal to get to us. My husband went inside to ask about our food, he was told they forgot we were there even though they marked our order as delivered. They still had not made the chicken we were told they were going to make. My husband got his sandwich, said the bread was stale. I ordered the 2 pc. chicken dinner but got chicken tenders instead. Tenders were okay, but not what I ordered and it took entirely too long for our meal to get to us. You’d think they’d get it right in 2 hours."

"I am giving Jack's a great review because we had a great experience at almost closing time (9:15 on 1-11-2024). I understand that fast food places run out of items near closing but the workers at Jack's went out of their way to get us a great meal. My daughter was given two very large, crispy, and tasty chicken breast in her 2 piece meal. They did cook us some fresh fries and they were good. I split a two burger meal with my wife. The burgers were also good but you could tell that they were cooked a little while ago. The most impressive part of our visit was the young man that waited on us. I'm a teacher of almost 30 years and you can tell when a person has been raised right. He was very polite, respectful, and well spoken. Jack's needs to do whatever they can to keep this impressive young man on staff. We will return to this Jack's location."

"We were coming out of Columbus and needed to stop and get something to eat and we came across this place. The lady taking orders at 757am on 12/26/2023 needs training on how to deal with customers and their orders. She was rude, cuts you off, and seemed like we were bothering her because she had to work. The food was nasty. The Chicken sandwich was tough and dry, my Fiancés Bacon, Egg, and cheese biscuit was nasty. The bacon was under cooked, the egg (if you call it that) was so small and the biscuit was hard. After we got our food, I pulled up far enough in the drive thru for the car behind us to pull up to the window, and she leans out the window and tells us to keep moving. I WILL NEVER GO BACK."

"My husband purchased a chicken 3 piece dinner. The chicken was cold and hard. The biscuit had been left under the heat lamp and it wasn't good. Taste like it had been cooked that morning. Last month when you all open everything was great. What a different a month makes. I will not be eating from there anymore. Let me know when you get your workers trained how to prepare the food."
