Reviews
"It was poring rain when we went. A dry day would be better for this, but made the best of it. The Conasaugwa River they called the creek was filled up. It was very interesting."
"Beautiful, historical spot to visit. There is also a very short easy trail to hike if you are interested in that sort of thing."
"We love attending the fall fair at Prater's Mill each year but parking could be better. I suggest working toward creating a place in the corner of the field nearest the mill to exit up onto the road. Also, as we noticed, the layout is confusing and there are better ways to organize it in the field. Otherwise, the fair is great, except there are no pork rinds!!!"
"Definitely worth checking out the fall craft festival that happens in October every year! It gives all the Fall feels with lots of craft booths, live music, and food vendors! There are a lot of individuals doing live demonstrations of their work at the festival as well which adds a unique flair (blacksmithing, wood working, leather work, etc). $10 cash entry (since it is a fundraiser/craft festival) and free, easy parking. Check out their website for more information and future dates for the festival!"
"Not enough visitor information on the historical significance of this site. The inside doesn't seem to be open to the public, but only for events. There is a nice small fishing area with a canoe launch for creek access. There Is a nature trail that makes a nice short loop along the side of the creek bank."
