"Joe Kurz is an absolutely beautiful WMA! The only issue it has is the heavy volume of hunters... I would suggest going there before hunting season begins, if you are not a die hard hunter yourself, so that you can see the wildlife instead of the parade of camo and trucks"

"Beautiful place. I have been dove and small game hunting here for over a decade. The DNR guys really do a good job on the dove fields, and we always see birds. Hitting them is a different story lol. Most people you encounter are good folks...never had a problem other than guys getting excited and shooting at low birds."

"Beautiful place,primitive means no electric,water,sewer, or garbage! Free if you have a hunting,fishing license. The road is wonderful we drive a 35 foot skoolie and it was great! Beautiful views and great for solar but there are some shaded areas."
