"I was really in the mood for Jamaican food. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked in and was greeted. I ordered the small curry chicken with rice and peas, and cabbage for $15. It took about 15 minutes. When I dug in, the food was very good and had the right amount of spice. All in all I had a good experience."
"I've picked up orders from this location twice. The service is excellent, and despite the fact that they are frequently busy and the restaurant becomes heated, they are as patient and friendly as possible in my experience. My first visit was on a Monday early afternoon, when it was rather busy, but my food was ready and still fresh. The other was another Monday, but it was late in the afternoon and not as busy. I had the oxtail sandwich both times, which is made of coco bread, a beef patty, mac and cheese, and oxtail. This sandwich must be eaten immediately because waiting causes the flavor of the sandwich to not combine as well as the structure of the sandwich to be compromised. The sandwich itself is not worth the price it is sold for in my opinion, as I know a location that offers the exact same sandwich for half the price. However, it is savory because the softness of the coco bread, the flaky crust of the patty, the mix of well-seasoned both beef and oxtail, and the cheesy and thick mac & cheese all give a unique impression."
"The food was authentic, fresh and delicious. Be patient with the time. They make things hot and to order. This family business has people waiting in lines to get a taste. I had the lunch special of Stewed Chicken. The rice, beans and cabbage that came as sides were soooo good. We also tried the oxtail eggrolls and their oxtail & mac & cheese sandwich. A great combination. Cant wait to try something else on my next visit."
"I was a little disappointed when I arrived around 1130 and was told I could not order the famous sandwich until 1:00 BUT it was worth the wait. I also ordered the salmon rasta pasta that was way too spicy for me. It was good just spicy. I'd definitely go back"
