"I use to frequent this location quite often, even after moving 45 min away. My favorite was the rib tips. This past Saturday, I purchased some rib tips, which I thought were rib tips and they were definitely not rib tips!!! I am not sure what type of pork or type of meat this was, but the taste and quality was not good!! I was very very dissatisfied after spending $45 and driving 45 min . I also wanted to purchase some chitterlings. However, the price and the sizes were definitely not reasonable. The small was $21, which was probably two bites. The medium was $44, the large was $75 and a small pan was $139. i definitely did not purchase any. I will not be returning to any of the locations. I hope they read their reviews. This is it, if you want to continue to stay open, you can not cut corners."
"$23 for a small piece of over cooked, under seasoned, clearly frozen, no where close to restaurant quality salmon served over mushy rice. Leg quarters were the only options for chicken. The sides left a lot to be desired. My husband's food was okay at best. They charge $3 extra to pay using a debit or credit card.Never again."
"Service and food quality have declined significantly over the years but prices have increased. I used to frequent this location but moved from the area. I visited recently and was quite disappointed. $19 for a veggie plate and most of it was not good. The dressing was too moist, the sweet potato souffle was overcooked and too hard to eat, the mac & cheese was just okay and the cabbage was fine. Now I see why the parking lot was empty when I arrived. Find the old cooks and bring back good customer service."
"My husband and I came down for a family wedding. Everytime we are in Georgia we have to come get some good soulfood. This is it has awesome food. My husband loves the Chitterlings"
"I ordered the ribs Mac and greens and potatoe salad. The ribs were pretty decent the sauce was cold though not sure why. Both the Mac and greens were good. The potato salad was super dry I guess it had been sitting out all day but other than that it was ok I spent $26."
