"Great little state park in Southwest Georgia. Well cared for park, neat trail systems, and a very unique topography that is similar in view , but not scale, to Arizonas Grand Canyon. It's a bit off the beaten path, but if you are anywhere near, it's worth the trip to see it."
"Plenty of parking near the visitor center. $5 parking fee cash in the envelope located at the park. You can also pay online and put the reservation code on the envelope provided at the metal collection boxes located at the park. Bathrooms are also located there. Our visit was early afternoon till dusk. The trails are well kept and cleared out. Wooden benches to rest are also along the trail. Plenty of opportunities for great pictures here! Wear some older boots, shoes you will get them wet and dirty once you get to the base of the trail. You cross a red clay "Creek" to gain further access to the canyon base. You won't regret this visit!"
"Beautifully kept park! Plenty of very nice places to just hike and enjoy nature! Areas for disabled people who aren't gonna be making that walk to sit and enjoy the views! Restrooms were wonderfully clean! You know what I mean if you have ever been to one of those parks with the bad restrooms!"
"Awesome place for a little hike. $5 parking fee to get in, and bring shoes you don't mind getting wet. Enjoy the views."
"Very nice day getaway if you live nearby and want to get outside. The drive for me was 2hrs away but I'd say it was worth the drive. Watched YouTube videos before coming out to see what to expect. As I've seen recommended canyons 4 and 5 were the best. Starting at the end of the Rim trail and seeing above the canyons first was nice. Then heading down to canyons 4,5,6,7 and 8 were good. Definitely save the loop trail for last since it basically takes you back to where you started at the top. Didn't personally need a big daypack with everything, just a few drinks (fanny pack or bag with drink pockets and zipper pockets for keys, $ and cards, and such) and some snacks. Phone or camera for sure and a good attitude for fun. The bathrooms are located at the top before you begin the trails. There are also picnic tables and a playground. The visitor center has drinks, snacks, shirts and outdoor things for sale. Depending on the weather you may want to consider sunscreen, and shoes for walking through water streams."
