"This place was so nice! Perfect for either a date night or a family outing. It's on the water and such a nice classy atmosphere. They have put a lot of hard work into this place. I had blackened catfish and it was a lot of fish for the price. The collard greens are not traditional but they have a nice flavor to them. They reminded me of Asian flavors mixed with bbq flavors. My husband had the Cajun pasta and it was amazing Alfredo sauce with a very well seasoned chicken breast. I'm not a hush puppy gal but those were the best I've ever had. We will be back!!!!"

"Went here for our anniversary. My husband had the ribeye and I had the brisket. Delicious. Prices are mid-range and portions are good. Desserts were large. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the lake. Reservation recommended if you want to sit inside. They’ve done a great job remodeling. It’s nice to have a restaurant on the lake."

"WOW!! AN AMAZING TRANSFORMATION! The marina is recently under new ownership, and the restaurant is now under new management. The restaurant building was in need of rehab work for a while, and boy did it get it. It's been completely renovated, both in the dining area and the kitchen. The result is jaw-dropping. It is BEAUTIFUL. I have lived on West Point Lake for a few years now, and I have seen marina restaurants come and go. Most have been mediocre at best, and they didn't last. This place is AMAZING! The food is top-notch. They have a large and varied menu with items at a good variety of price points, from burgers and tacos to filet mignon and oysters on the half shell. So whether you want a casual bite or a more fancy dinner, they've got something for you. And everything I've had has been very good to excellent. The service has been great. They have assembled a good staff that know what they're doing. I can't say a single negative thing about it. As of this writing, they have a karaoke night on Wednesdays, trivia on Thursdays, and live music on the weekend."

"We have been to Captains twice since they opened and the food and service were top notch. The atmosphere on the deck is the best I have experienced in the 25+ years I have been around Highland Marina. The Cajun Pasta and the Chicken Joilee were fantastic. Try the collard greens as a side, they have some black skillet type action going on, we will order these every time!"

"My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying this new restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Everything was wonderful. The brisket was top notch; my wife got the filet, and she is very particular with her steaks, but she had nothing but good words about her meal. I also had a skewer of grilled shrimp and I think you'd be hard pressed to find better at any restaurant in the area. The cheesecake was also delicious, and I am not usually a big cheesecake fan. The combination of awesome food, a beautiful atmosphere overlooking West Point lake, and a great staff make Captain's a restaurant experience that really sets itself apart from others in the area."
