"Everything was delicious! We had the cilantro lime chicken and hummus for the appetizers. The chicken was tender and everything was flavorful. I had the lamb gyro which was way better than I’d expected. I do however wish that they offered fries as a side. The drinks… so good! Martini deals on Tuesdays and let me tell you that the espresso martinis were fantastic! Will definitely be back."
"Kid Cashews is a popular America style restaurant. The Setup and the Ambience of the is really nice. The tables and chairs are fully wooden and the walls are so well decorated with pictures of movie stars of the past. Open kitchen inside the restaurant is a very good concept. The staff taking care of the food and the aroma is really nice. We tried the rotisserie chicken which was so so juicy and delicious. The Lamb Burger was also very big and impressive. We will definitely visit this restaurant. Happy Eating!"
"First visit was a home run! Food was fantastic! The drinks... not so much. We ordered the rainbow trout, shrimp polenta, avocado chicken, lamb gyro and as an appetizer the feta and spinach dip with flat bread. All of the food was fantastic. I had the lamb gyro and my only complaint was that it was too small for $13. I could get one almost twice as big for less than $10 almost anywhere in Sandy Springs. So if I had any advice to give to Kid Cashew, would be to beef up the size of the gyro, even if it's just in a pita that's two inches larger. The flavor though was fantastic. No complaints on the rainbow trout or the avocado chicken or shrimp polenta. I did not order a drink, I had sweet iced tea and noticed the first pour and the refill were left more than an inch below the rim of the glass... which I thought was a little odd. Another in our party had a dirty martini and she stated it was "just okay." She's pretty picky but didn't send it back. Another in our party secretly ordered me a Moscow mule which I do not drink but to be nice I took a sip of it and it was awful. I don't like Moscow mule's but I know how they should taste and there was no ginger beer in it. It just tasted like sour mix. Luckily for Kid Cashew another member of our party took a sip and was willing to drink it so we didn't send it back. The other member of our party then tried to secretly order me ANOTHER drink after having a convo with me about cocktails I liked and I mentioned how I make my own sour apple martini's at home. This gave them the bright idea to secretly order me an apple martini. I wasn't aware until it arrived at the table and it looked like... apple juice, amber in color. I again decided to be nice and took a tiny sip and it was AWFUL. I handed it to everyone else at the table and they all agreed it tasted terrible. It turns out the bartender admitted he either didn't know how or didn't have the proper ingredients for a sour apple martini and had used sweet vermouth, vodka and apple flavored liqueur. All it tasted like was sweet vermouth and vodka and even that tasted gross. Thankfully the staff were fine with taking it back and not charging us. All in all drinks aside the visit was fun, the theme and décor were really interesting. My only complaint is it was VERY dark inside. At one point someone outside on the patio must have dialed up the hanging lights outside because suddenly it got a lot brighter (it was at night) and it was nice to see what I was eating. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars for the atmosphere. Other than that, no complaints and I do intend to return at some point!"
"Was in the area looking for a place to eat before work and I came across this real unique restaurant. I really like how this place is set up to the art inside to the paint job they did on the building itself. Honestly didn’t know what to expect going inside but I was really impressed with the decor. The menu offers vegan options and also other things such as burgers and fish. I started our experience with a few small plates. I got the mac n cheese, octopus, and spinach dip. The spinach was loaded with spinach was not very creamy but I didn’t mind it because how flavorful it was. The octopus was really good and I recommend it to anyone who is interested. The mac & cheese was also very good, It tasted very fresh and was loaded with assorted cheeses. For my entree I ordered the Lamb burger and my girlfriend ordered the salmon. I feel like the burger takes a required Taste to enjoy but if you like grounded lamb you’ll love it! Definitely will be back to try more real soon."
