"I love Turner Lake Park! It's a nice place to have picnics, relax, go for walks or jogs, and overall just a place to enjoy the moment. I have been coming here since I was a kid and will definitely bring my kid as he grows up!"
"Honestly, I love this place! I’ve never had any problem. A lot of people go to the park, to walk/run, to walk their dog, host parties, and more. I’ve been going there for a long time and it’s overall my favorite park!"
"The park is great and offers a variety of activities for all ages. The walking trails are well-marked and provide a scenic view of the lake. The playground area is perfect for kids. The park also has a picnic area for families to enjoy a meal together. Great if you are looking for a fun and relaxing day out in nature."
"I love this park. It has so much to offer, a fishing lake with a pier designed to accommodate wheelchairs, a great playground, ball field and glorious hiking trails. The nature trails are great but not marked well so you can get a little lost, but no worries, you eventually find your way out and it adds to the adventure. There are little wooden bridges ... I always feel like I’m out in the woods even though the park is within walking distance of the city. My favorite park to take a daily walk."
"If you need a quick break on lunch hour or just want to clear your head in nature, this place is it! It’s great for a nice walk or jog. The lake is serene with people fishing and geese swimming. There are at least four baseball fields, a pavilion and multiple docking stations. There is even a handicap/wheelchair access dock. For anyone into wild vegetation, arbory or just general plant and tree life—this would be a delight! I found a wild American Strawberry [Euonymus Americanus] plant while walking. FYI, the restroom had a sign that read “only open when pavilion is booked” but there was a port-a-potty right across the walkway. I didn’t access it but I would advise taking care of business before you get to the park. It’s time for the clear covers on the trail navigation signs to be replaced. Due to how scratch damaged they are, it was difficult to read the trail map. The layout or design of the trails are a bit peculiar. One of them dead ends into the woods—not safe. Also, why wasn’t the main path designed to go around the perimeter of the lake? Grab a buddy (or not) and head out to this park…you won’t regret it."
