"So I finally made it into Bona Fide for a sandwich. Iam vegetarian so they only have a few options. I came in for the eggplant parm. Sandwich but they no longer have it. So I got the tofu Reuben it was not so great kinda hard to even finish half. It was too saucy and the tofu is literally just a slice of plain tofu with a little smoke liquid on it. Very mushy and Very very Very boring. Not even close to the best veggie reuben I have had. The potato wedges were good. The sauce they come with was great. The star of the show and worth the price for sure the Beet salad. To bad you can't just get a half order of the sides with a sandwich. Because the sandwiches are over priced to come solo. I might be back for that Beet salad but would pass on the vegetarian sandwich for sure. My sandwich, potatoes and Beet salad was $32 that's a lot for lunch especially when I don't even want to finish the sandwich it's too saucy, zingy and mushy. Hope they get a better vegetarian sandwich in the future and start adding 1/2 sides(size and price) with a sandwich order. Was kinda disappointed"

"I am baffled how this place does not have exclusively 5 star reviews. We had some visitors in town and wanted some sandwiches. We thought Victory would’ve been too long of a wait so we decided to give Bona Fide a try and boy are we glad we did. This was DELICIOUS and such a big meal. The vibes are emasculate and so cute and we will definitely be back. By the way, their vegan options were delicious!"

"Bona Fide Deluxe was a mixed experience. I love Banshee, so I’ve been wanting to try this place since I first heard of it. The pros: The Picked Beets were the best dish of our meal - tangy, herbaceous and delicious. I enjoyed my Buffalo Cauliflower sandwich. I wish the bread was a bit crunchier on the outside. I loved how soft it was, but it needed some crunch. The crispy veggies inside were the only texture in the sandwich. My husband liked the Tuna Melt, but said he’d order it without sun-dried tomatoes next time. Our friend didn’t enjoy her Smoked Turkey sandwich. A lot of the reviews mention the price of the sandwiches, and they are pricey. 2 sandwiches, 2 sides and 2 drinks came to $71 with tip. The food was fine, but not worth the hefty price tag."
