Reviews
"Tried for the first time today since new ownership. My review and stars are because they have room for improvement, so we'll see if you value customers' opinions. So here it goes! Lady that served my husband was nice and was working by herself doing her thing, so she gets the 4 stars. Atmosphere was not inviting at all and could use better lighting and decor to brighten the place up, so 2 stars for that. Now for the food. 3 stars because this is the first time in all my years of eating curry goat did I receive oxtail gravy goat. Is this some kind of fusion dish. If so, don't just don't. Hubby ordered curry goat, but what he brought home definitely wasn't jamaican curry. Surprisingly, it tasted good but again, it was definitely goat meat, just not goat gravy. Mix up? Is that even possible? So again, because it actually tasted pretty good, I gave 3 instead of no stars. I just wanna know before I decide whether I'm going back or not if that's how they make their "curry" goat, or was there a mix up of the sauce? It was brown, not the usual curry that has a hint of green. I clearly could taste the browning sauce. Good amount of food but still pricey. Get that sauce situation sorted out though."
"I ordered for delivery and was so disappointed. I ordered 2 large snapper meals. The snapper was was undercooked, the meat, translucent to pink and the “fishiest” snapper I have ever tasted. I couldn’t eat it. I called to confirm they had stew and escovitch and placed that in my order notes. I am pretty sure I got two curried snappers. The roti literally crumbled when I tried to unroll it. It was inedible. The rice and peas were good. I just wish I hadn’t spent $50.00 for that to be the only thing I could eat."
"I ordered the oxtail meal with Mac and cheese on Uber eats. The oxtails tasted like they were drenched in bbq sauce and the Mac and cheese had absolutely no flavor and was mushy. I would not recommend. The food was not palatable."
"I support black businesses but the business has to respect the customer. No jamaican aroma in the air,No lights on, fire detector beeping because of low battery should've been my sign to leave but decided to try it anyways. The lady at the counter was friendly but the food is horrible, ordered the CURRY goat rice and peas. The goat was burnt absolutely no curry to be found very little goat and the prices are way to high the rice was bland the cabbage was good but that's it and this place just opened. Gotta do better yall I will not be back."
"This is hands down the best Jamaican food in Atlanta! I don’t say that lightly when I tell you that the flavors are all hitting it’s the best- make sure you get the jerk shrimp if you like spicy and add oxtail gravy to everything. Thank me later"
