Harold's Chicken & Ice Bar Old National

"I'm from Chicago, and we love Harold's chicken depending on the location, and I must say that this Harold's is beating most of the Harold's in the Chi as far as food quality and taste. It's always a vibe in there with good food, good drinks, and good music. They also have hookah. Also, you must be 21 and older after a certain time. I must add that the food takes a good while to come out, especially when it's crowded, and they could definitely use some more servers. Great place though!!"

"It's been so long since I've been but I'll be back more often. The Chicken is delicious, it was seasoned well and cooked extra crispy. The whiting fish was great as well! My hubby got a burger, it was great as well, he added egg and bacon. He also added Harold's sauce to his fries and it was great!! I'm not a sauce person but the Harold's sauce pairs well with the fries, fish & chicken. I ordered the liver & gizzards to-go. My gizzards weren't cooked originally. I sent them back and they came back better. They only gave me a few. I got more livers but they were good to. My mom ordered green tomatoes. They came out super late but she loved them. The prices are reasonable. They had a Happy hour menu and hookah. Customer service was good. They do add an 18% gratuity. I definitely recommend. Very chill spot."

"First let me start by saying I frequent this place often so I’m not bias at all and this review is solely based on customer service so I get to the establishment I place my order which was grilled salmon and add fried shrimp mash potatoes and broccoli well done SALMON order placed I wait about 20 min not bad at all.I’m sitting in my car I assume order is ready no one ask for number to text when order is ready nothing I was going on assumption that my order was ready which it was and WRONG but like I said I frequent this place so I’m chill I know they would correct it I speak with the to go lady kind of heavy set lady not sure of her name but I tell her hey my order is wrong I’m missing the well done salmon and the shrimp we’re supposed to be fried she immediately takes care of it this is when the problem started to brew so I’m sitting at the table basically at the front door to the right directly on the side of the to go counter I witness a young lady tell a dude I was about to start wiping tables but you’re fine she then steps to me and says excuse me I need you to move I’m about to clean this table after I just witnessed her tell another customer (which I am as well) he did not have to move so I say excuse me no I’m not moving. now she wants to get argumentative which im not a confrontational person. then like I said the heavyset lady Step in kind of aggressively Tell me hey just move I’m like trying to explain the situation to her she not trying to hear it then the young lady tells me im about to get security you are going to get in trouble mind you I’m grown man you don’t speak to adults like this and there is plenty of police outside the establishment that’s when I became anxious a little due to my past with police and things of that nature so I step to security my self which he was very polite and respectful not understanding why are they telling me I have to move he didn’t make me move I got up because like I said I’m not argumentative person. I just wanted clarification of why I had to move and I’m a customer just like the other dude. no one could provide the answer to me and mind you the only reason I’m sitting in the building because my ORDER THAT I PAYED FOR A PAYING CUSTOMER WAS WRONG sole purpose I’m still there at the time so at this point I tell the heavy set lady just give me a refund my order was wrong and I don’t like the customer service at all once again she gets aggressive and tells me oh naw we ain’t giving no refund I’m baffled then she proceeds to tell me I don’t like this Sh** you on that drunk sh** mind you I came In for a to go order she never seen me with a drink and quite frankly, I don’t drink so that’s not even possible for me to be drunk she was aggressive with me and I aggressively asked for a refund now I’m drunk and she doesn’t like that wow ok I leave out and currently in parking lot writing this review and I will back tomorrow to speak with a general manager"

"Had the opportunity to come here for a late lunch recently. Everything was straight. Food was presented timely and was correct. We ordered whole wings, fried green tomatoes, waffles, beans and rice and libations. Would love to come back to check out their night vibes."

"Went after work and enjoyed the wings and fries. The wings were kinda salty but came to the table piping hot-the fries were not. The soda machine was flat, but the margaritas were great."
