"It was an okay experience. The restaurant is very small so if you have a lot of luggage, it would be hard to squeeze in. For a TV chef not too impressed with the food. It was good, but it would be no different than going to Friday's or Applebee's. Service was fine, we were at peak transfer time at ATL. Pretty quick service and food. If you rather not have fast food, this is one of the options out of Terminal A. Overall, this would not be my first choice and I would not go as far as "stay away", but don't have high hopes."
"Good meal for an airport. I had the steak tacos and a side of sweet potatoes. Both were cooked to order and hot upon delivery. My waiter never let me soda water go below half empty. I will go again. The salmon entree looked delicious."
"I must start off by saying that I've always liked Cat Cora as a television personality/chef. Unfortunately my expectations were not met on this day. I had the CHEF CAT'S BURGER, at $19 unlike the lower incorrectly advertised online price on their website. The patty was dry, the toppings too simple, the bun flat on freshness, overall it lacked any savoury appeal. The burger came with sweet potato fries. I would have loved the option of regular fries, but sadly that wasn't available as an option. Definitely not what you would expect at that price tag. My wife had tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. The tomato soup was good, whereas the grilled cheese sandwich was nothing to write home about. It was $15, which also shows an incorrectly advertised online price on their website at $12. The service was not the greatest, a little haphazard... I get that it's an airport which may be similar to working in a tourist area, but when the customers are paying, service standards are expected. I gave our server our credit card to pay the bill and he ended up in the airport hallway talking to someone passing by, for far too long. A few things on the upside. The dining area is mostly white and very well lit. Our table was next to a wall with an outlet allowing us to plug in and charge our phones and the hostess, Winsome, was very pleasant and was the best part of our experience."
"Five Stars for ATL If you are looking for a sit down hot breakfast for your layover Cat Cora’s Kitchen is the spot in A concourse. I was greeted promptly and sat immediately at a clean and comfortable bar seat that had power and room for luggage. They have four breakfast items plus lunch items to choose from. I got the American Two Eggs with chicken sausage with eggs cooked to over medium. I chose coffee to drink. Everything came promptly but condiments came on request. My eggs were closer to over easy but it’s not an exact science. I sat and chilled for an hour and my server checked on me from time to time to see if I needed coffee. His name was Freedom and was excellent."
"The best and most reasonably priced airport food I’ve ever had. I’m a pretty simple eater so you can imagine my frustration at the sky high prices I pay in airports for toast and eggs. The service here is impeccable, the staff is personable and the chef was even kind enough to prepare boiled eggs for me during a slower time of the day. The sourdough toast was crisp but with a nice bite, the sausage was plump and seared well, and even with the special request boiled eggs, the chef went as far as garnishing and salting them for me. What a lovely experience and meal."
