Reviews
"The revitalized Old Clarkdale Park has been a great addition to the neighborhood!"
"Fantastic park newly redone with an eye for the history of the location. Everything is accessible for all abilities. Also has a community garden and community center building."
"Very clean park tucked off in a residential neighborhood. The playground equipment is new and safe. The kids had a ball playing on the playground while we used the covered pavilion. The playground has soft surface ground for safety. The playground is well equipped. The bathrooms are spacious and very clean."
"Beautiful park. I rarely see kids at playground. It's unfortunate. It's a great playground!"
"Recently renovated and reopened the Old Clarkdale Park is nestled in what used to be the Clarkdale Mill Village. This quiet 6 acre park has beautiful baseball themed playground equipment which is a nod to its history as a baseball field in the community. The community building burned to the ground in 2017 has given rise to this amazing new space in Austell which also boasts two sets of restrooms, water fountains and bottle filler fountains, a nascent community garden, and a lovely ADA friendly paved walking trail that I'm sure the kids will love using on their bikes and scooters as well. This is renovation done right. If you have time swing behind the picnic pavilion for a history lesson about the park and the surrounding area. Parking is readily available, so swing by the next time you're in the area."
