"I heard of Characters BBQ from BBQ Pitmasters TV show and I decided to take the 2 1/2 hour drive and give it a try. Needless to say as soon as I walk in the door, I was warmly greeted by the staff and Mr Character. I told him I had driven up from the Mac specifically to try his famous BBQ. The Mac by the way is Macon, Georgia. I ordered a bit of everything on the menu...lol. I have tasted the ribs, brisket, chicken and pork and Mr. Character I must say you did not disappoint AT ALL!! "We drove about 2 hrs from Tennessee to try this place out and it did not disappoint. Best tasting BBQ I have eaten by far. I ordered the rib and beef plate that comes with 2 sides dessert and bread. Not only was the food amazing, the staff is very kind and friendly. Mr. Character even took a moment away from the kitchen to take a photo with me. If you’re ever passing through the area on I-75 look them up and if they are open you better stop, you won’t be disappointed."
