"Very rarely do I give high marks for small hotels. This particular hotel was better than most found in small towns. The service was good, the location was adequate and the rooms were very clean. When I return to Jasper this will be my hotel of choice. Thank you for a complaint free stay."

"Staff was very nice. Unfortunately we had a dirty room with dirty sheets on both beds that had to be changed at 11:00 at night. Greasy spot on mirror on back of one bed. Around the commode needed to be mopped because it was very dirty. Slept very little because of all this. What was going to be 4 nights at this motel ended after one night. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stayed there 2 years ago and it was ok, NOT NOW! Emailed owner about this on Monday and still have not heard from him, which tells me he does not care!"

"Our original room (on the 3rd floor) didn't have a refrigerator so the front desk upgraded us to a suite at no additional cost. We appreciated the effort. The new room was larger and had the refrigerator but it was dirtier. It was on the first floor and the carpet was absolutely filthy. I didn't feel comfortable walking around barefoot in our room. There were stains on the wall, chips in the couch, gnats flying around and the majority of counters (including bathroom) were not level."

"We have visited several Microtel Inn in the past...this is the BEST visit we have ever had. Started with our encounter at the counter. Very pleasant tall young man was very helpful. We were given the best room for our needs. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The morning was started with a continental breakfast. Rebecca was so helpful to assist me with needs we encountered. I hope that you will consider this place for all your visits to Jasper,GA. In the future."

"I don’t write reviews unless a place is extremely bad or extremely good — and this, unfortunately, is the former. I’ll start with the worst part: the blood stains on the comforter. This wasn’t just one or two little stains, it was partial smears. though this was the worst aspect of the hotel, the rest of the room was also unpleasant. The carpet clearly hasn’t been vacuumed in ages, to the point that if you walked barefoot, your feet would be dirty. There was mold all over the shower curtain and parts of the toilet hadn’t been cleaned. The hotel said it’s short on cleaning staff, but a room in this condition should not have been rented. Do not stay here!"
