"Beautiful view! Great hike, 3 miles up and 3 miles down. The story behind the house and stonework are amazing, and the gardens are lovely, even in the winter. There are two tree settings by the tower, benches overlooking the valley, and bench settings nearby."
"As a Berry college student myself, this place is a must-see if you're on campus. It's a wonderful hike, about 2.5 miles, with a lot of beautiful nature. Definitely would recommend going in the fall when the trees are pretty. The house itself is beautiful with the gardens and the fun swing on the big tree. If you want to come to a nice peaceful place to relax and get to know more about the history behind Berry, this is a must-see."
"I love going here in the fall. The leaves are just starting to change. The hike up is about 2.5 miles. It's not too steep, but it can be challenging if you're not use to it. The view from the top is totally worth any muscle soreness the next couple of days."
"A serene hike up with a beautiful view at the end. The house and the grounds was more than I expected! I wished I had packed a lunch to sit and enjoy it a little more. There were deer all around and plenty of seating to just sit and reflect. Only issue was that there just was clear enough directions as to where to park and where the trail actually begins. I had to ask one of the grounds keepers after searching for almost 30 minutes."
"Hike up took about 75 minutes. Mostly gentle incline, gravel path, benches at the 2/3 point, I'd guess. Take water. On top there are porta potties and a drinking fountain to refill your water bottle. The grounds up top were lovely, the vista was nice. You need reservations (which we didn't have) to go inside."
