"Views are spectacular (⚠️BE AWARE⚠️) There's a nearly hundreds of stairs to get to this waterfall and also if your not used to hiking or you don't like stairs do not even attempt this I learned the hard way of being sore for the rest of this week. So my recommendation is to enjoy the pictures on Google maps and only go if your used to go on these types of adventures"
"Great place to hike with dog!! Very adventurous easy to identify the trails, stunning views ! (Make sure to have your dog wear shoes, a lot of tree roots)"
"I have been to the park before and hiked the western loop, but I had never been to the falls. The first set of falls on the left is the easiest to see but it has the most amount of people. The second set falls is to the right and it's a big climb down but it's a lot quieter and usually has less water. There are several places where you can see out over the Canyon and they are very beautiful. I suggest going there with good hiking shoes and plenty of time and water. This is one of my absolute favorite places to go to in Chattanooga.I recommend going out there if you're a trail junkie."
"There is a connected path from the west rim camp site to the west rim loop trail near camp site 24. And from there it is about 30 minutes to the waterfalls. Sadly, the falls were totally dry during Oct 30 due to dry summer."
"Beautiful moderately easy hike into the canyon. I recommend Cherokee falls on the way back up for a quick break from the stairs. The steps can be treacherous but if you take them at a pace it's not bad. Cherokee falls is the better of the 2 falls in my opinion. The water is so clear and the falls majestic. As you step onto the canyon floor it feels as though time slows almost to a stop with the serenity of the surroundings."
