"I tried this restaurant when it first opened and the food was great, but the atmosphere and service was really lacking. Fast forward several years and I went again last night and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The fried pimento cheese balls with a peach sauce were amazing, the salmon was perfection and the bread pudding dessert was SO yummy. Amy, our server, was so fun and attentive, too. All in all a great night and we'll be back soon!"

"Fantastic little eatery! I started off with the Caesar salad, fried capers added a nice little profile to it. I had a hankering for shrimp and grits and poof! There it was! Cheesy grits with shrimp, scallops and sausage. My meal was fractal and the service was top notch. Thank you! Ps, I saw several tables getting the Grouper St Charles and that looked amazing also. I saw several patrons with the "o" face as they are it. Highly recommend!!"

"Perfect restaurant for date night. Really nice lighting. Just a few tables which lends itself to a certain amount of privacy and intimacy. Really nice chef's menu - and the presentation of the dish is sure to impress. Vegetarian options. I recommend the Grouper. The service is also excellent."

"Lucilla is always a wonderful experience, for a weeknight out or for a special dinner, but this was even better. I'd been trying to take my partner out to one of the special event dinners for a while, but the time was never right. Finally, I got my chance. We attended the Femme Fatales wine dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food and service were fantastic and perfectly paired. The scallop dish was so good that I cleaned the plate, and the duck was spectacular, but my favorite was the wild mushroom enchilada. Dessert is not pictured because I ate it. There was also an overview of details about each wine when it was served, and the wine specialist walked around and talked with all of us to answer any questions. 10 out of 10, can't wait to attend the next special event."

"I googled places to eat nearby and was led to this wonderful little restaurant. Driving up to the place you might think you've made a bad choice because the building doesn't speak to the high quality of what's inside. Once inside you find a wonderful little dining room filled with joyful dinners. The menu has a nice variety of choices, all of which are excellent. I chose the shrimp and scallops with grits which was exquisite. All in all it was an excellent choice. I highly recommend it."
