"The chicken was on point. This is my first time in years eating Popeyes chicken. Not only did they have an awesome rating of 97, they were friendly, and the wings were fresh and hot. I don't eat Popeye in my hometown, I'm sure most of you can guess why besides a low score. So this was a real treat for me. Next time I'm in Thomasville and want chicken, I know where to go."
"My sister and I went right before or after Thanksgiving and ordered the bucket of chicken with mashed potatoes/gravy and Mac and cheese. I want to say there was something else but I can't remember. Got it to my parents and dug in. It was hot and fresh and hot the spot for all of us. We will all be back! And btw, I have never been one to order Mac and cheese from a fast food place, but I would order it again now. It was really good!"
"I had the popcorn shrimp and chicken strips along with coleslaw. The coleslaw was cool and crunchy. Coleslaw was easily the best part of the meal. The popcorn shrimp was the size of popcorn before it is popped. Much more breading than meat. To their credit the batter did have a good flavor. The two chicken strips were very crunchy (not in a good way) at the ends. I ate this food or rather most of it. I am in no hurry to go back."
"Genuinely some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. Had to repeat myself 3 times when ordering ONE item and ended up not even getting that right. And on top of that handed me a box full of sticky sauce on its side completely dripping out everywhere. Absolutely ridiculous management needs to sit down and weed out the people who don’t pay attention to basic ordering instructions. Edit: after trying the wrong order of wings they were completely cold and there’s no way if they were genuinely fresh my 5 minute car ride home would have gotten them as cold as they were when I just tried them."
"The food is pretty good as long as you don't care that you will never receive what you ordered insted you'll get whatever they have. You want a 3 piece dark meal with an extra biscuit? Nope, 2 piece white with no biscuit and coleslaw instead of fries and no drink. You just want to order a 6 piece biscuit? Nah you don't need 6. You get 4. And I know what you're thinking. "You've probably only been like twice and writing a bad review." 7 TIMES!!! They have messed up my order 7 times. This is by far the worst Popeye's I have ever been to."
