"If I could give this review a -5 star I would. I opened an account online and deposited $80 into the account and 4 hours later they closed the account down. They sent me an email stating that I would get a paper check from the deposit I made within 10 days. So I waited and waited. 14 days later I had to call them and spoke to them about the situation they said the money was still there they have no idea why the request hasn't been made to mail the check. Then they asked me do I want them to send the check still or can I come get the money so I said I'll just come and get it.. just left their branch and they said I have to wait on the check. So y'all took my money closed my account down and now I've been waiting a month almost to get my money back.. absolute garbage for y'all to do a hard work in American that way. And to make it better I haven't been able to eat lunch today nor will I be able to eat lunch tomorrow because I was leaning on that this week. Goes to show even the corporations in this world are as grimy as every other human is almost."

"DO NOT try to get a mortgage through them, at least not the one in Jasper, Georgia. We should have listened to several other couples that warned us about trying to get a mortgage through United community Bank, but we did anyway. They constantly drop the ball, Are unable to close on time, have unlimited excuses and make you jump through hoops just to get a mortgage even after you are approved. They were horrible for us when we were buying our last house. Now that we are selling the buyers are trying to use them as well, and it’s been a nightmare for them. They refuse to be held accountable for not making the closing date. Renee is a nice lady, but their department as a whole is a joke."
