Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Kennesaw, an IHG Hotel

"Staff was nice and room was cleaned daily which many hotels do not do since the pandemic. Second floor had a strong food odor when I stayed for the whole week I was there. That would be the only reason for no 5 stars."

"Anybody who gives this place a 5 star review works here and is a liar. I walk into my $160 room and turn on the tv to find there are literally 5 channels. Literally.... not only that, there is water damage on the ceiling and the shower head is falling out of the wall and has exposed pipes. It's also 11:31 pm and people are doing burn outs in their cars outside. The room I'm in is 10ft by 15ft. Not kidding. The bed is a small extremely firm TWIN with unforgiving bed sheets. Everything in here seems like it was purchased at the flea market. $160..... anywhere else in America and you get a luxury hotel. I went to school in Kona Hawaii and this place is creeping up on LUXURY HOTEL PRICES! If you love being disappointed, this is the place for you. Otherwise please make sure to get enough sleep so you can drive straight through Georgia non stop. Oh great! The air condition turned itself on and it says it's 68.... the room is getting hotter by the second. It's gotta be 78. What even is this place."

"Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-K is a disaster of a Holiday Inn. Where to start? The rooms are horrible. Extremely old and out of date. Very little to nothing has been updated. The breakfast is terrible. Practically no food. They enjoy saying 5 more minutes and some food will be coming out - lies and after 30 minutes we just left. The elevator situation is a joke. One elevator is just completely shut down. The other elevator should be shut down. How to operate it is an electrical issue and we are surprised that the state is okay with it. The rooms are so old, the sink is in the room, not in the bathroom. The luggage carts have flat tires, I told the front desk about it and they just laughed. Amazing. We do NOT recommend this hotel. Do NOT stay here. The smell is horrible in the entire motel."

"Friendly, clean, and most helpful. I got in very late at night and there was someone at the desk to help me. Not only did they check me in as soon as I got there but provided me with a late night food option as most everything was closed. Rooms were clean, quiet, and perfect place to sleep and get prepaid for my event."

"Pros: bed was nice & clean, AC worked extremely well. Plenty of movie channels, refrigerator was cold, blackout curtains were nice. Cons: Room service didn’t show up half the time, didn’t refill necessities as needed, tight with towels & rooms needed deep cleaning. Dust everywhere, Corners of room, and shower were full of crud, nastiness underneath locked hygiene products in shower. Unknown “ dripping” stains on lounge chair. By main rd, so loud, near airport so you hear airplanes flying over. Pool was filthy, maintenance man was extremely loud by slamming doors. Elevator was rigged up, one wasn’t working at all. No air exhausts in the restroom."
