"Very clean but meats were bland and tasted boiled not smoked. Owners were very nice but doesnt taste like Dickeys."
"Ordered take out. Brisket sandwich combo. My fries were black!!! I asked if they could be made over. The lady behind the counter suggested that they were like that because they were hand cut fries. I was not born yesterday I know how hand cut fries look and they are not black. Either the grease was old or they cooked too long. I asked her to try again. She did and they were not black as I knew they wouldn’t be with more effort. The brisket was hard. I prefer tender. The ranch was not homemade which taste better. Most “Texas style” bbq sandwiches come with pickles mine did not have any. And they did not give me napkins in the bag. Was not impressed with this place at all. I expected more from a bbq place that’s been in business since 1914."
"Clean, homey, and welcome feeling. The staff was kind and quick to serve as well as answer any questions. The food is really good. I got the 2 plate platter with beef brisket and pulled pork. The meat was flavorful and so tender. The sides were great, the beans tangy and the Cole slaw was simple but so good. My friend got beef brisket as well along with the Mac and cheese (which he inhaled) and a said of excellent Waffle fries. My other friend got the frito pie and absolutely loved it. Plus, the bathrooms were clean! I have always liked Dickey's. Will definitely be returning."
