"I'm from Texas and moved to Alabama. I could not find a BBQ pit here that even came close to Texas Barbeque, then I found Jim N Nick's. Wow! Great Atmosphere, Service was outstanding. Gracie Jean was so nice, friendly and just down right wonderful. She is by far the best server I've ever had the pleasure meeting. Always has a smile and Is quick on the refills. I highly recommend trying them out."
"The best smoked beef brisket I've had in a VERY long time! Worth every penny! Definitely a new family favorite! Can't go wrong at this restaurant! Everything is so fresh!"
"First off you walk in to the amazing smoke smell & cheesy biscuits. The ribs were tender with a good flavor (no sauce needed) the mac & cheese very cheesy & the slaw was fresh. We also had the deviled eggs not best but pretty good. I could eat here again."
"Was served sprite in a glass with a visibly dirty interior tonight ( there was an orange smear and it was full of black flecks) by the waitress who was bartending during dinner. She whisked it away without any kind of apology, dropped off a new one while rushing somewhere else, and returned later only to bark at us if we knew what we were going to order, and when we didn't respond instantly she said "well?" to us in an aggravated tone. We asked for the bill for our sodas and left. Spent $10 on 3 drinks and a bad time. If you can't even drop a sorry for serving me a visible health hazard, I really don't want to risk whatever might be in the food."
"Firstly, the restaurant looks(and smells) great. Good first impression was followed up by an excellent male server who catered to our needs. Regretfully, the round of beers we ordered took quite a long time. As for the food, we enjoyed the complimentary bread very much...that stuff has a lovely texture and taste (we asked for some more). As for the smoked meats, the brisket was a little bit on the dry side, and the pulled pork(we got two types) seemed very similar to each other(besides the sauce that was smothered on top). I wish the baked potato came with some sour cream (and some more cheese/bacon bits)...it was a large one and after eating the top layer of the potato, we ended up with bland baked potato for the remaining. We came as a large group(after work coworkers) at around 7pm on a weeknight. I can only imagine the horrors of what type of chaos mighr ensue in that restaurant on a game day(Sat). Overall, a good experience. Recommended to visit, if you are in town."
