"I’ve been coming here for YEARS and have always been treated nice and fairly until recently with the change of practice ownership. I had a chip fixed here by Dr. Slone, and it was done fantastically. After 4 years of having no problem with the filling of the chip done by Dr. Slone, I asked for it to be redone because it looked like it had shifted a bit or something (not broken, cosmetic request). Unfortunately, Dr. Slone isn’t here anymore, so Dr. Baker agreed and treated me. I requested and was still under the impression it was completely redone. Soon after, I came in and expressed my concern that the new filling was much thinner, felt sensitive, and was very discolored after her treatment. She told me it was fine, and nothing was done. A few weeks later, even with extreme caution, the filling itself, of course, broke because of said concerns. It’s now sharp, uneven, and extremely sensitive. I immediately let them know, and they told me they were sorry to hear this, especially considering it hadn’t even been a full year, and to come in so they could fix it. Later, I find they left me a voicemail saying they won’t redo it, to just do a veneer, to worry about my other teeth, and that if I want to come in for my appointment, I may, but nothing will be done. This being decided was very odd to me since it was without even being seen after the break. After looking at her own failed work, she tells me she never redid it but just reshaped the old filling and won’t redo it. And to go get it redone or fixed somewhere else. After severely weakening it with an unauthorized and unaware "reshaping," I would have never agreed to a 4-year-old filling being thinned out and shaved. Dr. Baker set me up for failure and dismissed me to go deal with it elsewhere. Adding insult to injury, they agreed to fix it complimentary, especially since it was so recent, but after switching up, they even had the face to charge me a fee for coming into the appointment to figure out exactly what was going on and show them her own failed work. Again, she decided she wouldn’t fix or redo it without even seeing it first. This problem is now causing me extreme discomfort. Ridiculous! If you’re smart, don’t go here! Zero-trust."
