"I’ve been going to The Rib Shack since 1994 or before and that’s when Mrs Miller introduced “The Dragon Lady” it a fine hot sauce and it is a little spice but the bomb, try it if you haven’t don’t knock it."

"So my BBQ tour of Dalton, GA continues with this place I was recommended to go to. Walking into the joint you smelled the BBQ which I didn't smell at the other places, also my elevator to my hotel room smelled great with BBQ. I tried the ribs first because that is what I ordered at the other 2 places these ribs were tied for first with one of the places yesterday. Great ribs, nice pull on first bite, good rub and smoke flavor. The chicken was the best in town I have had so far, surprisingly crispy skin. The thigh was really good and great smoke flavor. The only downside was the breast was a little dry. Other than that it was really good. The baked beans were not my favorite out of the 3 places I have been to so far they finished 3rd. The Brunswick stew was awesome, I have nothing to compare it to because I have never had that before. The sauce on the side was excellent as well. I can see why this place has been open since the 80's. Great job I recommend it."

"Nice local BBQ place. Went for lunch with colleagues. Ordered the two meat combo. Ribs perfectly cooked, firm, but not tough, fall off the bone with nice bark. Brisket was not tough, or dry. Sliced thin so the sauce was proportined perfectly. Baked beans complimented the meat well and had nice amount of meat cooked inside. Very enjoyable lunch."
