"Please don't send ya family members here, if you love them and care for them find somewhere else, this is not for all that work there but a huge portion of them are just there for a payday they have no interest in taking care of anyone, to let people go 5/7 days without a shower or if ya love one has had foot leg or anything like that taking off and they go 4/5 days without checking it cleaning and doing what needs to be done is just wrong and they don't need that job if they can't take care of people then they need to find somewhere else to work but don't send ya family here I have seen how most are treated. They lie to doc"misplaced people's meds take people off their meds they have taken for years to give them what they want to give. Just please find somewhere else for you loved 1 to go as you can tell by the reviews this place ain't much"

"Why does it take over hour on nite shift to give you pain med. I been laying here since 4;01. It's now 4;58. They not even answering thing. I'm in so much I can't stand it..been crying for last hour"

"My mother wanted to go back there. She had been there before. The hospital called and then they told us Mercer was full. She found a different on in Tazwell. An hour away from where our family lives. I called to see if they could let me know when they had a room come open so she can transfer there. I spoke to Wade the social worker. When he answered I didn't give any names just that I was looking for an open bed. He said they had 5 beds open. I was surprised and told him my mother and gave her name. As soon as he heard her name oh she has to be put on a waiting list we don't have any openings. My response was you just said you had 5 empty beds. He said yes 5 empty beds with 6 people waiting. I then asked for her to be put on the wait list. He said the hospital has to do it. I do not understand why she is not welcomed back there. I complained when it was under the old owner. I thought the new owners were doing a very good job. All the nurses loved her. It had to be from where I complained because I expect them to take proper care of her. I will report this to the media or who ever else I have to report this to just to make sure everyone knows how they treat people."

"This place is terribly understaffed. The nurses on duty seem to be caring enough except for the fact that they each and all are running in n circles trying to keep up. For a business bought out by another larger business that should be able to manage, as the term management is in the name itself, they seem to have improved very little in the management department. No one wants to be at this place at the end of their life. It's by far not the worst place, but it could use a lot of work mine the less."

"Staff are caring, professional and hard workers. They all work together providing exceptional care. The building is beautiful, clean and well cared for. Additionally, they allow patients to live in a home like atmosphere and advocate for individuals rights. Highly recommended! Thank you all!"
