"If I could give negative stars, I would. Very poor experience. Staff are extremely rude. Providers do not address patient concerns or questions regarding diagnosis, procedures, or treatment. Pathetic quality of care just because it is the only place to go in Princeton/ Bluefield area. Go to Beckley for your gastroenterology needs. Update, they called and said after reading my review I could not return to the building!"

"I finally left and started going to a better doctor in Beckley. He copped an attitude with me once and then my father twice. They schedule too many people near the same times which results in high wait times. People act like driving an hour or two away isn’t worth ridding bad health issues. Also, you aren’t supposed to get as many Botox stretches as I did. It makes surgeries more difficult. After so many times it really thins the esophagus."

"Took my loved one for colonoscopy, she had been NPO since midnight. Appointment was at 1pm, by 3:30pm we still hadn’t been called back. So we left. The staff was very rude to anyone not wearing a mask, but were very open about someone’s procedures to be done. I would not recommend this Dr office unless there were no other option."

"Staff is unprofessional! Rude and condescending to say the least!! Seems like the staff undermines the Dr. since he stays in the surgical area, doing as they please. Main receptionists in both office have always been pleasant. Not too many problems with the surgical staff other than they might pay a little better attention while draining iv bags. Hose hitting the trash can then gonna still use it. Questionable contamination even if that is all it is used for. Never had a problem with Dr. Patel directly. He seems to be good, and on the money with diagnosis. Lastly, I was originally told by the staff that it takes 2-3 weeks to get the results. Keep in mind this is for in house testing. Called after a month still no results, only to be told it can take 2 months! They are not that busy these days, and now it takes 10 times longer than before. Absolutely unacceptable!! Sometimes I get the impression that the staff is too lazy to look them up. Nothing would surprise me."

"Dr Patel once again took care of me with great care. This was my second procedure in 2 weeks. Without any complications. I am so grateful to him & his Awesome staff. I think some people forget that he is human just like the rest of us. Again Thank you again for the excellent care you gave me while in your office having my procedures done."
