"I can't even begin to say how amazing our wedding was at Lawrence Plantation! Todd was the absolute best at helping us plan every detail before the wedding, and helping us keep things on track the day of. Every single on of our guests were amazed at the beautiful views this venue has. The reception area is large and stunning! The drinks - even better!! There were some things we forgot or didn't think of the day of, and Todd jumped right in to help. He made sure that the grooms/bridal parties were taken care of and checked on us often. Right before I walked down the aisle, he stood with me and kept me from being too nervous. If you are looking for a venue for any kind of event, this is the place to have it! We 100% recommend Lawrence Plantation and will definitely be planning more events here in the future!❤️"

"We absolutely loved having our wedding at Lawrence Plantation this October! My now husband, mother and I looked at multiple venues in the Rome area, and this was the perfect fit for us. The venue is beautiful-it overlooks what used to be a golf course, with rolling hills and beautiful trees in the background. The plantation house is a stunning space, is classic and can decorated in any way you choose, it doesn’t hurt that it has a huge wrap around porch that is perfect for an indoor/outdoor experience! We decided to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the golf course with the hills in the background. We had a cocktail hour to follow which was held on the porch and the back lawn leading up to the house. The dinner and dancing was inside, and the built in bar was great to have! We had 170 guests who comfortably fit in the reception room, we had a huge dance floor and still had room to spare for extra tables if needed. The manager, Todd, was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. We exchanged many emails and phone conversations, and never left with a question unanswered. Todd was very accommodating, met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding, and made sure everything was executed well the day of the wedding. We had multiple guests rave about the venue, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We highly recommend this venue and wouldn’t have changed a thing about our big day! "Rehearsal & Wedding We held our rehearsal, wedding ceremony, and reception here. What an amazing and seamless weekend we had! From the beginning of our planning Todd did a phenomenal job of helping us by offering many suggestions for how we could make the venue work for us. He was very laid back and eager to answer questions and help us in all ways possible. We used The Season Events for all catering and wedding coordinating and they worked so well with Todd at the Plantation. We couldn't believe how easy and laid back our perfect day was. This is attributed to the professionalism of Todd in working with Holly, Nicole, Ray, and their amazing Season Events crew.
