Family Dental Center of Macon

"I started going to Dr. Dixon after she took over for Dr. Ross's crooked behind when he retired. I made a dental appointment a week ago for today at 3:30 PM to see Dr. Dixon, and left at 5:30 PM without being seen. I told the staff the urgent issue I was having prior to them making the appt. and was never told that I had to pay on a prior balance (for a service I never received) before being seen. I took off from work to come to this appointment only to be treated rudely by one of the front desk staff, Michelle Spires. It really surprised me, because she had been nothing but kind to me in the past. I advised Michelle that I would wait to speak with Dr. Dixon on the issue and that seemed to upset her more. She came out several times trying to get me to leave, telling me Dr. Dixon was doing a surgery and it would be a while. I advised her again that I would wait. Dr. Dixon knew I was in the waiting area, but to my surprise, she did not come out to talk with me. Dustin Lattefuddin and Michelle Spires came out to tell me that she left to pick up her kids. And at that point I let Michelle have it because she was being so rude to me today. Needless to say I will NOT be returning to this office. I am so disappointed. Oh well, time to find a better dentist office!"

"Whitney did a great job with my cleaning. She was very friendly, kind and respectful. The dentist is a whole other subject. I don't think she cares about the work being done to patients. I had to get 2 crowns put in. They don't fit the teeth properly; even one of the team that was going to put them in had questions and concern about doing it and went and got the dentist. She said nothing and put them in. Now I am having sensitivity in them and you can see just by looking in the mirror that they don't come down all the way and fill the difference when flossing. I mentioned this to her this last cleaning and the dentist said nothing but see you soon. I don't know about that. Why can't people take pride in their work anymore? It's all about the almighty dollar. If this work was in her mouth, I bet she would have had a different opinion."

"My appointment was at 10:45am they didn’t come and get me until 11:30am. Once they called me to the back so many workers kept coming to my room and stopping my dental hygienist asking her unnecessary question that could’ve waited for another time. They are rude… just Recommend for Ms.Lisa very old school and I love her."

"Friendly staff, nice clean office with welcoming decor. Michelle at the front desk was warm and welcoming and explained to me the dental insurance/billing processes. Mrs. Lisa, the hygienist, took the time to explain what was going on with my teeth and the treatment. Dr Dixon was friendly and thorough. The location was easy to find. Ive had some anxiety about going back to the dentist and after visiting Family Dental Center of Macon, the anxiety is gone! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist."
