CVS Pharmacy 2 North Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253

"If we're talking about the drive thru at the hwy 81 location, it's pretty dismal. There are usually cars backed up 3 and 4 lengths, and I presume it's because the employees inside are extremely slow and ignore the drive thru. I know, it's just an assumption on my part, but I don't believe it's far from the truth. And when you finally get to the window and wait nearly 10 minutes, most of the pharmacy techs are rude. No "I'm sorry for your extreme wait" or even a "how can I help you?" It's just "name, birthdate..." And then a walk away and another wait for entirely too long. Now if we're taking about the Zack Hinton CVS drive thru, it's totally different and I would give it 5 stars. Hardly any wait, super friendly pharm techs, and hardly any wait when getting your prescription. They seem to have their ish in order and work it very efficiently. Want my opinion, go to the Zack Hinton location. No brainer there."

"My father has been receiving his prescriptions from this location since he moved down here. Now my father told me that the pharmacy staff was rude and for a man with medical issues as well lack of technology understanding this location has no respect for their clients or their families who are trying to assist them. I went in and Jalisa was the attendant who helped. She lets us know there were no prescriptions filled. I explained that I received a text stating his meds were indeed ready for pick up. I received three texts for three different meds. She states there are none ready, one was only a partial and my question is where is the customer service just as you have an automated service they should automatically call their clients And explain prior to these situations occurring. She then lets me know phone calls are not personal either. Now I’m feeling like all they do have to do AUTO tell those meds are ready and AUTO bill insurance company! Nothing about this pharmacy makes me feel secure and when I told Jalisa that I was displeased and would have his prescriptions sent to another pharmacy she stated TO GO AHEAD. Turned away from the monitor to walk away. Point is maybe if they cared this location would have more than a 2.5 rating and a group of untrained staff dealing with customers who actually care. My advice visit family who needs assistance and take off work to do it!!!! Then maybe the staff would empathize with their customers… Side note Christine was apologetic and way to out and understood my frustration. Oh and they text me again telling me his prescription would be ready soon.. AUTOMATED….."

"I had an issue with a Woman worker there who was rude with me about how to insert my debit card because it said 'Chip Malfunction'. As if she were a mom, then she said "Leave it in there, NO! Leave it in there". Very silly, and then after that I told her "put the receipt inside the bag" how she said it to me and she acted like she didn't hear me. Very poor service. Should be way friendlier to customers, it shouldn't be remotely close to how it went during that time I was there on October 1, 2022."
