"Update: Was told (in this reply) they would call me but they never did. Plus they dinged my insurance rating even though I TOLD THEM TO WITHDRAW THE CLAIM. Very sketchy. Makes me want to call the state insurance board. I may. This is a very deceptive practice. Still have three policies. Looks like I’ll be looking for a new home for these as well for a company who will appreciate it. Original review: Will be switching companies after 12 years of giving them my business. I have four policies with Country Financial and had a very minor auto incident involving a mail box, they threaten to raise your premiums if you proceed with a claim, and they’re already WAY more than their competitors. You think if you’re paying premium prices for a policy, and have never filed a claim, there would be some type of better response than the one I received. I could see raising my rates if I had speeding tickets, multiple claims, etc. But a first time claim after all the payments I’ve made and they go buck wild on your already pricey premium. If this is the kind of experience you want, choose Country Financial. But I’m telling you, there are better choices out there. And here I go to find them!"
